SÜLI, Tamás DVM, PhD. - Deputy R&D Scientific Director, Head of BSL-3 Facility, Biosafety Officer


Education: He graduated from the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Veterinary Medicine as doctor of veterinary medicine. PhD candidate in the field of immunology, microbiology and vaccinology. He acquired certified biosafety practitioner qualification at the University of Edinburgh, Biosafety Training Institute

Professional Experience: One year of experience in teaching as an associate in practical training in animal anatomy. Five years of working experience in poultry health care and farm management, providing veterinary care of broiler and layer breeder flocks, layer pullets, broiler chickens and turkey. Knowing of hatching technology and implementation of ISO and HAACP standards in poultry industry. Experience in the field of veterinary medicinal product research and development, especially in tasks that require veterinary expertise. 

Responsibilities: Beside deputizing the R&D Scientific Director, he is responsible for establishing and maintaining policies and procedures, training personnel and maintaining the facility and equipment.  His task is the supervision of all operations of the BSL-3 Facility including the management of biological safety and security, waste management and decontamination.
